Cloudways is a managed PaaS layer on top of DigitalOcean, AWS, and GCP. You pay for the underlying VM plus a Cloudways platform markup.
Cloudways prices estimated from public listing. Platform markup is the difference between Cloudways price and underlying cloud cost.

PaaS markup on every compute dollar, every region
Cloudways adds a platform fee on top of the underlying cloud provider's cost. A 4 vCPU / 8 GB DigitalOcean server costs roughly $48/mo direct. The equivalent Cloudways plan costs $100+. Whether you deploy in the US, Europe, or APAC, the markup follows. Huddle01 is raw IaaS: you pay for the compute, not the intermediary.

No managed Kubernetes or Docker — anywhere in the world
Cloudways has no Kubernetes product and no managed Docker offering, in any region. If your stack requires containerised workloads at scale — whether in US-East, Frankfurt, Tokyo, or Mumbai — you are outside Cloudways' scope. Huddle01 ships managed Kubernetes and managed Docker as core services across all regions.

Bandwidth metered globally, no plan escapes it
Cloudways meters bandwidth and charges overages beyond your plan limit, regardless of which underlying provider or region you choose. Huddle01 includes unlimited egress on all plans at 10 Gbps. No pool, no overage, no billing surprise for high-traffic workloads in any geography.

No dedicated vCPUs on base plans
Cloudways provisions shared vCPUs from the underlying provider. Performance under load depends on host resource contention. Huddle01 allocates dedicated AMD EPYC vCPUs on every plan in every region. Your purchased resources are yours alone.
1
Virtual machines with dedicated vCPUs
Every Huddle01 instance runs on AMD EPYC processors with dedicated vCPU allocation, DDR4 ECC registered memory, and NVMe SSD storage. No shared-core tiers, no noisy neighbours. Anton-2 through Anton-64 scale from 2 to 64 vCPUs with consistent per-second billing across US, Europe, APAC, and India regions.
2
Managed Kubernetes globally, without platform fees
anaged Kubernetes on Huddle01 is priced at exactly the same per-node rate as standard virtual machines. No control plane fee. No node limits. Available in all regions including Mumbai with DPDPA compliance. Cloudways offers no Kubernetes product.
3
Managed Docker without a PaaS intermediary
Huddle01 Managed Docker is priced at $0.0084 per vCPU per hour and $0.00402 per GB per hour. No platform fee. No enterprise account required. Push your image, configure the container, deploy — in any region. Cloudways has no managed Docker service.
4
Block storage and load balancers, priced simply
Block storage at $0.0000834/GB/hr. Load balancers with SSL/TLS included at no add-on cost. No retrieval fees. Cloudways does not offer block storage or load balancers as standalone infrastructure services.
